There is a dark blue C overlapping the ray lines. The white number 1896 is below the book. Behind the shield are crossed swords, with orange handles outlined and accented in black. The top portion of each sword is gray outlined in black. The bottom left sword portion is white outlined in black and the bottom right sword portion is black and gray outlined in black. The background of the interior concentric circle is separated into four sections by the swords, the top and bottom sections in light blue and the left and right sections in white.
