The mark consists of the stylized wording "MARINE ROTATIONAL FORCE" in yellow appearing on a banner filled in red and outlined in black.  Below is the stylized wording "SOUTHEAST - ASIA" in yellow appearing on a banner filled in red and outlined in black.  Between the two banners is a rope border filled in yellow and outlined in black.  Within the rope border is a stylized globe featuring a stylized map of Southeast Asia in blue and green, and with longitudinal and latitudinal lines in black.  Overlaid on the globe is a stylized eagle design outlined in black and filled in brown, white, and yellow, standing on an anchor filled in grey and outlined in black, which features a braided anchor line filled in tan and outlined in black.  Above the eagle design is a stylized letter "I" in yellow.  The remaining color white in the mark represents background and/or transparent areas and is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
