The mark consists of three concentric circles. In between the inside circle and the second circle, the word "MICHIGAN" is written at the top, and the words "TART CHERRIES" are written at the bottom in smaller letters than the word "MICHIGAN". The word "MONTMORENCY" is written, using larger letters than used for the words "MICHIGAN" and "TART CHERRIES", inside a ribbon, with the ribbon crossing over and covering the lower middle section of all of the concentric circles, and extending beyond the outer circle on both the left and the right sides. There is a drawing of three cherries, with two having stems and a total of five leaves of varying sizes, taking upmost of the upper middle part of the inside of the inner circle. The cherries appear under the word "MICHIGAN" and above the word "MONTMORENCY", with the bottom of the middle cherry partially covering the top of the ribbon.
