The mark consists of a shield with a flame above its center point, the shield encircled by three concentric circles, for which two circles form the outside boundary of the mark, and one inner circle surrounds the shield with a top, central portion thereof obscured behind the flame. The perimeter of the shield includes a dark solid perimeter with a lighter line passing through the dark solid perimeter. The shield includes a stripe with three five pointed stars that runs diagonally from the upper left corner of the shield to the bottom right corner of the shield. The year "1929" is above the stripe in the upper right corner of the shield. The word "LANDON" is centered below the shield, is curved, and is vertically centered between the inner circle and outside boundary. The words "VIRTUTE ET NON VI" are centered above the shield with "VIRTUTE" on the left side of the flame, and "ET NON VI" on the right side of the flame and are curved to be vertically centered between the inner circle and outside boundary.
