The mark consists of two concentric circular borders on the perimeter, the inner one being slightly thicker than the outer one. The space inside the two circles features the Southernmost Point Buoy decorated with horizontal bands. There is a triangle in the center of the top band, the word "SOUTHERNMOST" is in the second band, the word "POINT" is in the third band, and the bottom two bands are solid shading. Surrounding the base of the buoy is a pile of coffee beans. On each side of the buoy are two palm trees. Above the buoy, along the inner edge of the circular borders, are the words "BEACHES & BEANS COFFEE CO". in all capital letters. Below the pile of coffee beans, along the inner edge of the circular borders, are the words "KEY WEST, FL". in all capital letters. In the space between the upper words and the lower words, are two curved line segments, each parallel to the circular borders, and similar in thickness to the outer border.
