The mark consists of an alcoholic beverage bottle label comprising the shape of an axe lying on its side with the head of the axe pointed upwards. On the left, which is the bottom portion of the axe handle, the wording "BLENDED MALT SCOTCH WHISKY INSPIRED BY THE" appears in capital letters and a stylized font in two rows above the name "Rt. Hon. W.E. Gladstone", which name appears in a highly stylized font. Towards the mid-upper portion of the axe handle, the quote "'NOT A DROP OF MY BLOOD IS NOT SCOTTISH'" appears in four lines above the name "W.E. GLADSTONE", all of which is in the same stylized font.
