The mark consists of a white shaded circle with a border comprising three concentric rings respectively colored red, white, and red. The stylized wording "ARM & HAMMER" in white overlays the top portion of the innermost red ring, while the stylized wording "THE STANDARD OF PURITY" in white overlays the bottom portion of the innermost red ring. The design of a Vulcan arm holding a hammer centrally overlays the white shaded circle, and comprises a white shirtsleeve with blue outlining and accents, a beige arm with blue outlining and accents, and a blue hammer with white accents. A sunburst surrounds the upper section of the thin red circle and is comprised of yellow and white rays, and the rays are on an orange, triangular-shaped background in the upper, left corner of the mark, which is curved. There are blue concentric circular and incompletely circular-shaped figures in the center section of the mark. There is a horizontal hazy blue band passing through the center of the blue circles. The area above and below the blue band and behind the blue circles transitions to black until it meets the orange background in the upper left corner of the mark.
