The mark consists of a shaded design of an eagle in flight with talons exposed located within a circle outlined with a rope design. Within that circle, in the background behind the eagle, is six pointed star created in the negative space of the circle formed by six shaded triangular designs, with the base of each triangle intersecting the circular outline. Also within the circle, located below the eagle, at the base of the six pointed star, is a design element consisting of a vertical line followed by a stylized "C" and a reversed stylized "C" followed by a second vertical line. Surrounding this inner rope circle is an outer concentric second circle that contains stylized wording. This outer concentric circle is divided into an upper and lower semicircle portion by way of two smaller circles that are located atop the outer concentric circle at its midpoints. The left smaller circle contains a shaded flame design and the right smaller circle contains a shaded legal scale design. On the upper portion of the outer concentric circle is the stylized wording "SAFETY · SECURITY · ERT" where the two "·" characters are represented by two small shaded diamond shapes; on the lower portion is the stylized wording "HEALTHANDSAFETYSCIENCES.COM".
