The mark consists of the following: of a coat of arms design surrounded by a green ivy wreath design outlined in black. The shield design is blue on top with two Bull Terrier white dogs outlined in black holding a smaller shield with the letters "MU" which are white with a red and white background outlined in black. The bottom of the shield is yellow with a yellow bumble bee outlined in black with brown colored strips on the body with white wings and 6 yellow legs in the middle with the date "20", "17" in black on the left and right side of the bee design. There is also white inside the shield and black outlining on the shield. The Latin words "IN CATULIS INDICIUM" are white and is inset into a blue and white banner with black outlining at bottom of the design just below the shield and superimposed on the ivy wreath design. Above the logo are the words "MADCAP UNIVERSITY" all black all capitalized. The remaining enclosed white in the mark represents background and is not claimed as a feature of the mark.
