The mark consists of the stylized wording "WAYFARER" with the word "WAYFARER" having the last "R" forming an underline, centered above a stylized man, with a moustache, in a pinstripe suits and a panama hat, facing right and walking and carrying a briefcase. The man appears partially within an incomplete circle outline, with banners unrolling to the left and right of the circle, and with a solid circle interrupting the bottom of the circle underneath the man's feet. Scrolling lines appear on either side of the solid circle with vines forming part of the scroll on the left. Also surrounding the man are miscellaneous designs, such as horizontal, diagonal and vertical lines of various lengths, horizontal arrows and arrows formed by angled lines, and vines. The wording "SERINO" and "CIGAR" appears in the stylized ribbon-like bands flanking either side of a stylized man with the abbreviation "CO." appearing below a stylized man. The square behind the design is not a feature of the mark but is used as background only.
