The mark consists of the stylized wording "CARNICERIA RUIZ" encircling a stylized map of Mexico and the state of Texas on the top with the stylized wording "FLAVOR - MEX - TEX - STYLE" encircling the map from the bottom. All of the wording is in black with white outlining and gray shadow effect. The stylized map of Mexico is outlined in black and features a stylized Mexican Flag with green color block on the upper left side, white color block in the center and red color block in the lower right side. Above the map of Mexico appears the stylized map of Texas outlined in black with a white star, navy blue color block on the left of the map, white color block in the upper right and red color block in the lower right of the map. In the center of the map design features a brown and white eagle with yellow and black claws, a yellow beak grabbing light green, white and yellow worms and standing on a blue cactus with pink and yellow flowers which is above a light brown, light blue and yellow block design that is being encircled by a green and yellow wreath garland featuring a red, white and blue ribbon in the center.
