The mark consists of an emblem or insignia featuring a blue globe in the center with outlines of continents and lines in white and gray, surrounded by a gray circle. Encircling the globe is an outer blue ring with gray borders with the gold language "FRATERNAL ORDER OF INVESTIGATORS" and two gold stars inside the ring. On the outside of the ring are gray and white bars that are outlined in black and that are of various heights extending from most of the outer part of the ring. At the bottom portion of the mark appears a blue rectangular-like shape that is outlined in gold and that contains the number "2013" in gold. At the edges of these bars, and in the background, is gold garland comprising leaves or plants that encircle much of the mark, especially the lower portion of the mark. At the top of upper portion of the mark and on top of some of the bars appears a blue banner that is outlined in gold and that contains the gold language "Fraternitas Integritate Erudito". Above this banner at the top of the mark is a gold eagle.
