Below the wording "AMARO SILCILIANO" appears the wording "SALVATORE AVERNA" appearing in black letters above the year 1868 dal appearing in gold, which is above the wording "FRATELLI AVERNA" appearing in gold letters on a gold line, all above a red crescent design at the bottom of the yellow label which is above the gold outline of the label.
