There is a second white band with black borders that runs horizontally. It is in front of the red background and behind the two concentric circles. There are two black lines that extend from the left side of this band. The top line attaches to the top of the larger circle, and the bottom line attaches to the top of the innercircle. The interior is white. There are two black lines that extend from the right side of this band. The top line attaches to the bottom of the inner circle, and the bottom line attaches to the bottom of the larger circle. The interior is white. The left band has the word "AUBURN" and the right band has the word "DUESENBERG". All three words in the logo are slanted so the point upward even though they are on 45-degree slanted bands. All words are in black.
