Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA SEPARAÇÃO DE UMA MACROLIDA DE IMPUREZAS NEUTRAS ACÍDICAS, BÁSICAS E NÃO-POLARES" . Esta invenção refere-se a um processo de recuperação de um antibiótico de macrolida, especialmente uma macrolida tricíclica tal como rapamicina, de concentrados de extratos de caldo de fermentação ou de licores-mãe, por meio do que componentes acídicos e/ou básicos formados no processo de fermentação são removidos, mediante utilização de procedimentos de extração aquosa de base ou ácido, de uma solução do concentrado imiscível em água e componentes não-polares são separados da macrolida através de solubilidade seletiva.
