Abstract
Patente de Invenção "COMPOSIÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA DESTINADA À ESTERILIZAÇÃO CONTRACEPTIVA FEMININA". A presente invenção tem por objeto uma composição farmacêutica aperfeiçoada destinada à esterilização contraceptiva feminina por oclusão do orifício tubo-uterino em sua região intra-mural, produzindo fibrose altamente específica nesta região. A composição é constituída por três grupos de substâncias farmacologicamente ativas: quinacrina, agentes anti-prostaglandínicos de tipos esteroidal ou não esteroidal e sais cúpricos que, conjuntamente com um veículo inerte não tóxico, são administradas sob a forma de um comprimido intra-uterino (pellet). A adição de sais de cobre melhora as taxas de obstrução tubária já obtidas com o uso de quinacrina e anti-prostaglandínicos.
