Radionuclídeos que emitem partículas, por exemplo, o Samário-153, foram complexados com ácidos aminoalquilenofosfônicos orgânicos, ondeo nitrogênio e o fósforo são interligados por um grupo alquileno ou grupo alquileno substituído. Estes complexos foram verificados como sendo úteis em composições para o tratamento terapêutico de tumores calcíficos em animais.
