A presente invenção refere-se a um polipeptídeo Ige de ligação diferencial que exibe suficiente homologia com relação a um IgE nativo ou um fragmento deste, de tal modo que o dito polipeptídeo exibe uma afinidade de ligação para receptor IgE de baixa afinidade (FCEL) que é ao menos substancialmente aquela do IgE nativo, polipeptídeo esse que não se liga significativamente a receptor IgE de alta afinidade (FCEH).
