Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "GENES DE PROTEÍNA IMUNODOMINANTE DE 28 KILODALTONS HOMÓLOGOS DE EHRLICHIA CANIS E USOS DOS MESMOS". A presente invenção é dirigida à clonagem, sequenciamento e expressão de genes de proteína de 28 kDa imunorreativo, ECa28-1 e ECa28SA3, de uma família de genes múltiplos polimórficos de Ehrlichia canis. Uma sequência completa de outro gene de proteína de 28 kDa, ECaSA2, é também provida. Ainda se descreve um local de multigenes codificando todos os cinco genes de proteína de 28 kDa homólogos de Ehrlichia canis. As proteínas de 28 kDa de Ehrlichia canis recombinantes reagem com anti-soro de fase convalescente de um cachorro infectado com E. canis.
