Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PELÍCULA DE POLIETILENO BIORIENTADA COM UM ALTO ÍNDICE DE TRANSMISSÃO DE VAPOR D'ÁGUA" . São providos métodos para produzir películas de polietileno tendo um índices de transmissão de vapor d'água (WVTR) desejado. Os métodos incluem fundir uma folha de polietileno a qual tem uma camada de base de um polietileno e um agente de cavitação, e no mínimo uma camada de um material de controle do WVTR, e subseqüentemente orientar biaxialmente a folha para produzir uma película tendo o WVTR desejado. A camada de base tem uma microestrutura porosa e um WVTR substancialmente maior do que o WVTR desejado.
