Cartão para uso em uma carteira de dinheiro (10), adaptado para a leitura de informação externamente armazenada, que inclui uma base transparente substancialmente não dobrável e semi-rígida (202). A base semi-rígida compreende uma lente de aumento. A lente é formada através do aquecimento de uma matriz de formação de lente (210) com relação à uma temperatura suficiente para amolecer o material de base e através do subseqüente esfriamento da matriz antes da retirada da matriz do material de base.
