PROTETOR DE APARELHOS ELETRO-ELETRÔNICOS: é um dispositivo eletrônico (Fig. 1 e 2), feito para dar proteção a aparelhos elétricos e eletrônicos ligados em sua saída(1 e 18) contra variações bruscas ou lentas da alimentação elétrica, e contra a ligação desses mesmos aparelhos em voltagem errada (diferente da nominal especificada pelo fabricante). O protetor de aparelhos eletro-eletrônicos desliga o aparelho a ser protegido ou evita que êle seja ligado a uma voltagem diferente da nominal, indicada pelo fabricante. Ao religar ou então quando é conectado à rêde, sempre conta um tempo para garantir que não há variações na rêde elétrica. Pode ser usado indiferentemente em 110 e 220V (90 a 250 Volts).
