Na fórmula, R^ 1^ e R^ 2^ são hidrogênio ou metila, com a condição de que, quando R^ 1^ for metila, R^ 2^ seja hidrogênio e que quando R^ 1^ for hidrogênio, R^ 2^ é metila. Sendo possível para os compostos da fórmula I estarem na forma Z e/ou E.
