A presente invenção divulga um sistema sísmico marítimo (10) com um sistema de controle (20) e pelo menos um veículo reboque motorizado (30) (tripulado ou não tripulado) com pelo menos um aparelho ou sistema sísmico (21) preso a ele, o pelo menos um veiculo reboque motorizado (30) para rebocar, seletivamente, sob sua própria energia o pelo menos um aparelho ou sistema sísmico (30), em um aspecto tal reboque é feito em conjunção controlada (40) com o movimento de uma ou mais embarcações hospedeiras (20), em um outro aspecto tal sistema sísmico marítimo (10) inclui pelo menos um barco de serviço (40) para prestar serviço a pelo menos um veículo reboque motorizado (30).
