Abstract
"REFORÇO DE CORPOS CERÂMICOS COM WOLLASTONITA". O uso de fibras de wollastonita tendo comprimentos de fibra relativamente grandes como agentes de reforço para corpos de louça sanitária não cozidos. A adição de wollastonita refinada a corpos de louça sanitária exibiu resistência melhorada à propagação de trincas, encolhimento na secagem e no cozimento reduzidos, atividade de fluência, e inibição de liberação de HF durante o cozimento. Encolhimento reduzido e permeabilidade aumentada melhora a resistência ao trincamento durante secagem rápida e permite aplicar programas de produção mais rápidos.
