Abstract
Patente de Invenção: TERAPIA DE COMBINAÇÃO EMPREGANDO BENZOTIEPINAS DE INIBIÇÃO DE TRANSPORTE DE ÁCIDO BILIAR "ILEAL" E INIBIDORES DE REDUTASE DE HMG CO-A" . São providos novos benzotiepinas, derivados e seus análogos; composições farmacêuticas contendo eles; e métodos de uso destes compostos e composições em medicina, particularmente na profilaxia e no tratamento de condições hiperlipidêmicas tais como aquelas associadas a ateroesclerose ou hipercolesterolemia, em mamíferos. Também são providas composições e métodos para a terapia de combinação que emprega inibidores de transporte de ácido biliar "ileal" e inibidores de redutase de HMG Co-A para o tratamento de condições hiperlipidêmicas.
