Abstract
"PRÓTESE DE VÁLVULA CARDÍACA". A invenção compreende uma válvula protética que possui uma estrutura, geralmente anular, com três colunas e três recortes curvos. A estrutura é tri-simétrica com um eixo de simetria definido pelo eixo do fluxo de sangue através da válvula. A superfície externa da estrutura é geralmente cilíndrica com diâmetro D. Cada folíolo possui uma superfície esférica truncada adjacente a sua aresta livre. A superfície esférica é unida tangencialmente à superfície cônica truncada. O semi-ângulo do cone truncado é de aproximadamente 37,5 graus. O raio da esfera é de aproximadamente D/2-0,5 (mm). A superfície do folíolo é axi-simétrica, sendo seu eixo de simetria perpendicular ao eixo da estrutura da válvula e ao fluxo de sangue.
