Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "CONJUNTO DE PRÓTESE ACETABULAR" . Prótese acetabular tendo um componente de invólucro que é implantável em um osso e um componente de revestimento que é correspondente ao invólucro. O invólucro tem uma superfície externa de engate de osso geralmente convexa e uma superfície interna geralmente côncava. Uma ranhura é formada na superfície interna do invólucro e se estende sobre pelo menos uma porção da circunferência de superfície do invólucro. O revestimento tem uma superfície interna côncava e uma superfície externa convexa com o formato complementar a e correspondente à superfície interna do invólucro. Uma ou mais características de superfície positiva são formadas na superfície externa do revestimento, adaptadas para seletivamente corresponder com a ranhura do invólucro. O revestimento pode ser unido ao invólucro por encaixe de pressão dos dois componentes juntos de modo que a característica de superfície positiva engata a ranhura.
