Patebte de Invenção: ''DERMATAM SULFATO COM POTENTE AÇÃO ANTICOAGULANTE EXTRAÍDOS DE ASCÍDIAS''. A presente invenção se refere à identificação de dermatam sulfatos extraídos de algumas espécies de ascídias (Cordata-Tunicata) com potente e específica ação anticoagulantes. Estes polissacarídeos são uma fonte alternativa de compostos anticoagulantes e antitrombóticos. Além disso, podem ser utilizados para o preparo de oligossacarídeos, que preservando a ação biológica, apresentam menores efeitos colaterais.
