Patente de Invenção: "DERIVADOS DE HEXAHIDRO-1,4-DIAZEPINA OU SEUS SAIS" . São fornecidos compostos que têm uma atividade anticoagulante baseada na inibição do fator X de coagulação do sangue ativado, e são úteis como anticoagulantes ou como medicamentos para prevenir ou tratar distúrbios induzidos por trombos ou êmbolos. Os compostos são derivados de hexahidro-1,4-diazepina da fórmula geral (I) a seguir ou sais farmaceuticamente aceitáveis dos mesmos: (I) onde os símbolos têm os seguintes significados: A:um grupo fenileno ou piridileno, R^ 1^: um átomo de hidrogênio, um grupo -C(=NH)-alquila inferior, X: -CO- ou -SO~ 2~-, Y: uma ligação química ou um grupo alquileno inferior, R^ 2^: -COOH ou um grupo -COO-alquila inferior.
