A presente invenção refere-se a novos artigos moldados que compreendem compostos ativos e são baseados em polímeros termoplasticamente processáveis e biologicamente degradáveis, preferencialmente poliésteres, poliéster-amidas, poliéster-uretanos e poliéster-uretano-uréias, e sua produção e uso para o combate e parasitas que se encontram sobre, em volta e no ambiente de animais hospedeiros, os artigos moldados servindo, opcionalmente, após o uso, para o combate e insetos fitopatogênicos em plantas ao ar livre ou em ambientes internos.
