Abstract
"GENE SEMELHANTE A TOLÓIDE DE MAMÍFERO E PROTEÍNA". É apresentado um gene de mamífero codificado uma proteína semelhante a tolóide distinta de BMP-1/mTlD humano ou murino. O gene é semelhante em estrutura, aos elementos da família BMP-1 dos genes, porém mapeia para uma localização distinta e codifica uma proteína distinta. A proteína codificada pelo gene pode ser usada para classificar agentes putativos terapêuticos em um esforço em andamento para inibir a atividade da família BMP-1 dos genes, de modo a prevenir as cicatrizes, fibrose e semelhantes.
