Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO DE ASPIRAÇÃO PARA MOTOR DE COMBUSTÃO INTERNA", (54) Título: DISPOSITIVO DE ASPIRAÇÃO PARA MOTOR DE COMBUSTÃO INTERNA, no qual o ar aspirado é conduzido por um filtro de ar (3) até o motor de combustão interna, e na área de passagem de aspiração está disposto um volume de atenuação (5), que atua como ressonador de Helmholtz. O tamanho do volume de atenuação ativo é medido de modo a atenuar uma área de freqüência sonora prevista. Para uma ótima redução de ruídos, o ar aspirado passa, pelo menos parcialmente, pelo volume de atenuação (5), e o tamanho do volume de atenuação (5) atenuante, pode variar através de chaves e válvulas reversíveis.
