Abstract
Relatório Descritivo da Patente de Invenção para "MILHO APOMITICO". Milho apomitico/Tripsacum hibridos tendo uma razão de cromossomas de milho: cromossomas de Tripsacum de pelo menos 30: 9 foi desenvolvido. Estes hibridos são úteis para introgressão de diplosporos de reprodução apomítica em um milho em direção ao objetivo final de estabelecer linhas comerciais imortalizadas de milho apomítico tendo caracteristicas inerentes estáveis, sem a necessidade de produzir continuamente semente híbrida por cruzamentos repetidos de linhas originais selecionadas. Iniciadores de DNA para uso em ensaios de milho/Tripsacum hibridos para procedimento de reprodução apomitica, são também providos.
