Um chumaço higiênico alongado, compreende uma folha de topo permeável a fluidos (1), um núcleo (4), uma folha de topo secundária (5) localizada entre a folha de topo (1) e o núcleo (4), e uma disposição elástica na forma de pelo menos um fio (7) que se estende longitudinalmente, localizado entre o núcleo e a folha de topo secundária. Pelo menos um fio elástico transversal também poderá ser previsto.
