Abstract
"MÉTODO PARA FAZER UM SUBSTRATO CEMENTADO E PARA PREPARAR A SUPERFÍCIE DE UM SUBSTRATO DE CARBURETO CEMENTADO", compreendendo um substrato de carbureto incluindo um aglutinante preparado para receber um material de corte tal como um revestimento de corte sobre o mesmo. O substrato é imerso em uma solução de eletrólito com o substrato agindo como o anodo dessa maneira provendo uma superfície de substrato eletro-polida. A superfície de substrato eletropolida é então atacada quimicamente para remover substancialmente a fase de aglutinante do substrato de carbureto, o ataque químico ocorrendo até uma profundidade de até cerca de 0,015mm (15 microns). A superfície resultante é suscetível para receber um revestimento do material de corte de diamante.
