Patente de Invenção: "UM PROCESSO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE MADEIRA COM BACTÉRIAS" . As Pseudomonas fluorescens, Pantoea (Enterobacter) agglomerans, Bacillus cereus e Xanthomonas campestris são úteis na redução do teor de piche de madeiras e polpas de madeira usadas na produção de produtos celulósicos. Essas bastérias também são úteis na redução do manchamento de cor por fungos de machamento de madeira estrutural por inoculação da madeira estrutural ou das fontes tora das quais vai ser cortada.
