Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A OXIDAÇÃO CATALÍTICA DE ETILENO EM FASE DE VAPOR". A invenção provê um processo para a oxidação catalítica de etileno em fase de vapor com um gás contendo oxigênio molecular, em um reator de um só compartimento, compreendendo uma multidão de tubos de reação, contendo um catalisador de prata suportado, a qual é circundada por um fluido de troca térmica que entra no reator em forma líquida e sai do reator em forma de vapor, em que entre 5% e 100%, em peso, do fluido de troca térmica líquido é introduzido no reator na sua extremidade a jusante, a uma temperatura do fluido de troca térmica ao sair do reator.
