Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A DISTRIBUIÇÃO DE GÁS PRESSURIZADO DE EXTINTOR DE INCÊNDIO". Um extintor de incêndio (12) para extinguir um incêndio é armazenado em um recipiente de armazenamento (11) sob sua própria pressão de vapor, e uma fonte (18) de gás pressurizado para super pressurizar o extintor de incêndio (12) é armazenada separadamente em cilindros (18). Mediante a detecção do incêndio, o recipiente de armazenagem (11) é acoplado na fonte (18) do gás pressurizado para super pressurizar o extintor de incêndio (12) dentro do recipiente de armazenagem (11). Dentro de cerca de 60 segundos, o extintor de incêndio super pressurizado (12) é, então, liberado a partir do recipiente de armazenagem (11) pela abertura de uma válvula de saída (14) e distribuido através da tubulação (15) e do bocal (16) para a vizinhança do incêndio. O processo e o sistema associados são úteis com uma variedade de extintores de incêndio (12) incluindo Halons, com tempo de equilíbrio reduzido, sem despesas de reajuste do equipamento existente para novos agentes.
