Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "SOLUÇÃO ESTERILIZANTE FRIA" . uma solução esterilizante-desinfectante que pode ser usada na limpeza de objetos metálicos, particularmente instrumentos médicos. Os instrumentos médicos, que podem incluir latão, cobre, alumínio, aço inoxidável, aço carbono ou peças de plástico são esterilizados ou desinfectados em um solução antimicrobiana. A solução inclui um componente triazol ou outro para inibir a corrosão de cobre e latão. Os fosfatos ou outros agentes tampão ajustam o pH da solução a fim de evitar a corrosão de aço. Os molibdatos ou compostos análogos podem ser usados para tamponar o pH e foram verificados como inibindo a corrosão de alumínio por agentes oxidantes.Um agente seqüestrante é preferivelmente provido para inibir a precipitação de água dura.
