A invenção propõe um prego com uma região de expansão (3), que por um processo de entalhe possui abas de expansão (9, 10) curvadas para fora. Entre as abas de expansão (9, 10) encontra-se um entalhe longitudinal (8), no qual está introduzida uma cunha (20) cuja borda superior (21) se salienta sobre o corpo (1). A cunha (20) se apóia sobre um fundo do entalhe ascendente em direção ao lado frontal do prego (5).
