Abstract
Desenvolveu-se um novo composto de metal carbono cerâmico ligado por resina, para preparar artigos refratários conformados, por exemplo, placas de canal de alimentação corrediças e bocais, artigos esses que exibem resistência aperfeiçoada à oxidação. O composto cerâmico é preparado a partir de uma mistura especialmente formulada que inclui uma formulação antioxidante de uma fonte de boro e uma combinação de pelo menos dois metais ou suas ligas.
