Canais multiplexados de divisão de comprimento de onda em sistema de comunicação de fibra ótica têm espaçamentos de freqúência de canal para canal que permitem coincidência substancial de produtos de mistura de 4 ondas com portadoras de canal. Como conseqúência, é aumentada a capacidade do sistema.
