Patente de Invenção "PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAÇÃO DE CETONAS CÍCLICAS". Descreve-se um processo bioorgânico para a preparação de derivados de ciclopentanona e de ciclopentenonas de fórmulas (I) por oxidação em ß de substratos apropriados, efetuada com a ajuda de microorganismos. O processo revela ser útil para a preparação de ácidos 3-oxi-2-pentil-1-ciclopentano acético e (z)-3-oxo-2-(2-pentenil) -1- ciclopentano acético e seus ésteres metílicos interessantes em perfumaria e a indústria de fragrâncias.
