Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "COMPOSTOS 7-(2-IMIDAZOLINILAMINO) QUINOLINA ÚTEIS COMO AGONISTAS ALFA-2 ADRENORECEPTORES". A invenção em questão envolve métodos de tratar congestão nasal compreendendo a administração a um ser humano ou animal inferior em necessidade de tal tratamento de uma quantidade segura e eficaz de um composto que tem a estrutura (I) em que: (a) R é C~ 1~-C~ 3~ alquila ou alquenila não substituído; e (b) R' é selecionado entre hidroge]nio; C~ 1~-C~ 3~ alquila ou alquenila não substituído; hidróxi; tiol; ciano; e halo. A invenção em questão também envolve o uso de tais compostos para evitar ou tratar outras perturbações respiratórias, coulares e/ou gastrointestinais. A invenção em questão também envolve novos compostos que têm a estrutura acima em que R' é hidrogênio ou fluoro ou ciano.
