Um produto para isolamento de fibras de vidro contém fibras de vidro de formato irregular de dois diferentes vidros possuindo diferentes coeficientes de expansão térmica, as fibras de dois vidros de formato irregular apresentando uma natureza de preenchimento de volumes substancialmente uniforme e proporcionando melhores capacidades de recuperação e condutividade térmica, mesmo na ausência de um material ligante.
