A presente invenção refere-se a composições e a processos para proporcionar tratamento, controle ou mitigação aperfeiçoados de sintomas de resfriado, similares à resfriado e de gripe por administração de uma proporção segura e efetiva de uma composição compreendendo sais de aminoácidos de uns agentes antiinflamatórios não-esteroidais de ácido proporônico juntamente com pelo menos um de (a) um descongestionante, (b) um expectorante, (c) uma anti-histamina e (d) um antitussígeno.
