Abstract

O aparelho e método de examinar e diagnosticar trauma ou doença em tecidos do corpo envolve o uso de eletrodos (26) sensores de biopotencial de CD tendo potenciais de desvio de CD compreendidos em uma faixa aceitável de características elétricas que acentua a precisão da medição de biopotencial. O aparelho (10) verifica os eletrodos (26) conectados a ele antes de um ciclo de medição e não iniciarão a medição do ciclo se estiverem presentes eletrodos inadequados. Os eletrodos (26) podem ser formados para passar seletivamente apenas certos íons dessa forma acentuando a sensibilidade dos eletrodos.
