Abstract

Refere-se a presente invenção a um cortador de cobertura de solo com vegetação morta ou viva, restos culturais ou palhada, que conjuga a função de cortar essa cobertura existente e abrir um sulco no solo para plantio, deposição de adubos, fertilizantes e/ou corretivos, ou preparo do solo. O dito cortador é constituído por um disco de corte (1) e dois cilindros (C e C') colocados nas laterais e à frente deste disco exatamente no ponto (X) onde este executa o corte, sendo que esses cilindros (C e C') seguram a cobertura ou palhada (8) para ser cortada, causando o efeito de uma tesoura.
