Abstract

Para controlar a orientação de grupamentos de agentes de cura em uma formulação de elastômero, para maximizar as propriedades obtidas no elastômero vulcanizado, aceleradores de cura são depositados na superfície de uma fibra. Este processo propicia uma orientação do tipo fibra de locais de reticulação em uma matriz de elastômero, resultando em propriedades de módulo melhoradas. Uma vantagem adicional do processo é a fixação química da fibra à formulação do elastômero, o que também propicia melhores propriedades de módulo.
